Prosthetics and Orthotics

Teaching Facilities & Volunteering

Hamilton Health Sciences and the Prosthetics & Orthotics Department partner with the George Brown College Clinical Methods in Prosthetics & Orthotics program. Clinical instructors teach students the Orthotic curriculum in this program. The Prosthetics and Orthotics department at Ron Joyce Children's Health Centre has a dedicated teaching facility specifically for this purpose.

The success of this program relies on the participation of orthotic patient volunteers. If you wear an orthosis and would like to volunteer to participate in a student project, please contact Sharon Carr by email at or by telephone at 905-521-2607.
